Tadaa: Hermione’s Everyday socks

Hello Everyone!

I’m sorry for being away for such a long time. Somehow a lot of things ended up getting in the way and the blog got a bit left behind. But I’m back now! And i have some finished things to share! Today I’m sharing my latest pair of socks, Hermione’s everyday socks. I love everything Harry Potter, so the name of these socks is a great bonus, but the pattern is also very nice. A must make. They’re so amazingly comfortable!

Pattern: Hermione’s Everyday Socks by Erica Lueder.

Yarn: 2 balls of Drops Delight in colour 12.

Time: Ravelry says I started these socks on the 7th of October and that I finished them on the 28th. However, I didn’t constantly work on these, i put them down for about a week after finishing the first sock and put them in between too. I’d say it took me 4-5 days per sock, so about 10 days.

Experience: I loved knitting these! I would like to make another pair soon. These wear amazingly, the yarn is super soft and does well in the washing machine (it came out even softer). They keep my feet lovely and warm and aren’t itchy in the slightest.

As you can see here the yarn does have a slight fluffy halo.

I really love these. It’s nice to wear bright colorful socks! And hand knits socks are turning into quite the addiction! They’re really a treat to wear, like a little hug for my feet! (Totally stole that line, but it’s so true!)

Love, Renée
